There is one thing about life, it's not static. There is constant change, seasons come and go and so do friends. Today I dropped my son (Caleb) off for his first day of Kindergarten and Mikayla for 2nd grade. It's hard to believe that my little babies are growing up. It is such a blessing to be able to watch them grow but I still feel a tinge of sadness as they do. That's life I guess. Things change. Friends move on. Kids grow up. Loved ones pass away. I don't know that all of these types of things should be sad as much as they should be a reminder. A reminder that life is not static and the only thing that doesn't change in life is God's love. So through all the changes that you may be experiencing in your life (good and bad), enjoy the day because life goes and doesn't stop. Breathe deep of God's love because at the end of it all, that's all we have. Life may not be static, but it is eternal, live wisely and enjoy the day. It's all that we have.
