Yesterday was an awesome day! After not sleeping well the last few nights in prep for our big kick-off and the opening of our newly redesigned children's wing, last night was heavenly. Everything was so good yesterday. Jon & Kate Gosselin did an excellent job telling their story. The kid's ministry team kicked it into high gear! The worship was incredible and God's presence was so sweet. We had our largest fall kick-off ever with about 500 people in attendance. Almost 5 years ago when I became the Lead Pastor at our church, I dreamed of days like yesterday. It's so much fun to see God put a dream in your heart, then surround you with an incredible team to make it become reality. It is fun to be a part of what God is doing! I'm not sure what today holds, but yesterday was a great day!
