I sitting here feeling a little hungry. I had a great time with God this morning and I have a pretty busy day ahead of me. I can feel the sugar withdrawals already beginning. It's a great feeling when you feel clean from the inside out. If feels great physically and even better spiritually! Fasting is all about emptying ourselves of ourselves and asking God to fill us. It's all about putting our personal (fleshly) desires to death and living for God. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." I love saying this verse, in fact, I confess or say it on a consistent basis. I want it to be true, that I don't live selfishly for my own pleasure but that I live purposefully for God's pleasure. Go ahead and confess that verse over your life today and live today with purpose.
