In An Instant

I read a great devotional recently that I wanted to pass along to you. I know that you'll be encouraged. Regardless of what you're going through, stay in faith & know that God can turn things around in an instant! Enjoy the devotional!

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
"…And in an instant, suddenly, you shall be visited and delivered by the Lord of hosts…" (Isaiah 29:5-6, AMP)

All through the Bible, we have examples of how God suddenly showed Himself strong on behalf of His people. But sometimes when we've struggled in an area for a long time, it's easy to just give up and accept things the way they are. One of the enemy’s favorite lies is to tell you that nothing is ever going to change. He’ll tell you that you’re never going to get well, that your marriage isn’t going to work out, that you’re never going to break that addiction. But I want to tell you today, it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been in those circumstances, God can change things in an instant! In a s…

Kingdom Culture- "With Everything"- Part 2

This past weekend we had an amazing encounter with God as a church. It was one of those, "you had to be there" experiences! I spoke briefly from the story found in Luke 18:18-29 (click here to read) It talks about a rich man that really didn't want to give everything to God. He wanted to do just enough to get by. Scripture is littered with stories of people that did not give everything to God & it cost them everything. Here are a few...

GENESIS 4-- CAIN- Didn't give God His Best.
JOSHUA 7- ACHAN- Didn't put God First.
ACTS 5- ANANIAS & SAPHIRA- Didn't give God Everything.

Do you have a passion & fire for the things of God? Do you enthusiastically love others & have a desperation to reach others with the good news of Jesus Christ? I…

Kingdom Culture- "With Everything"

"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might…" (Ecclesiastes 9:10, NIV).

If you desire to reflect a Kingdom Culture with our lives, the question that we need to ask ourselves is simply this, "Are you giving everything?"Seriously, are you being faithful & fruitful right where you are today? Are you doing everything the very best with your ability? A lot of times we think, "As soon as I get a better job, then I´ll start working harder." "As soon as I get over this sickness, then I´ll trust God & have a good attitude." "As soon as my spouse changes, I´ll put some serious effort into my marriage." Or, "As soon as I have more, I'll give more... time, money, and so on."

But really, God wants us to do everything with all of our might no matter what the circumstances & regardless of what we have to offer. He wants us to be faithful & fruitful today! He wants us to have a good attitude and do the r…
