Kingdom Culture- "With Everything"- Part 2

This past weekend we had an amazing encounter with God as a church. It was one of those, "you had to be there" experiences! I spoke briefly from the story found in Luke 18:18-29 (click here to read) It talks about a rich man that really didn't want to give everything to God. He wanted to do just enough to get by. I see myself in that story more than I would like to admit. We often do everything that we can to keep from giving everything to God. God commands us to put Him first in our time, talent & treasure. Scripture is littered with stories of people that did not give everything to God & it cost them everything. Here are a few...

GENESIS 4-- CAIN- Didn't give God His Best.
JOSHUA 7- ACHAN- Didn't put God First.
ACTS 5- ANANIAS & SAPHIRA- Didn't give God Everything.

Do you have a passion & fire for the things of God? Do you enthusiastically love others & have a desperation to reach others with the good news of Jesus Christ? If you don't it's because you are holding something back from God. God wants to fill you with His power, passion & His Holy Spirit! If you are going to receive everything from God, you need to give everything to Him. Give God your heart (time, talent & treasure) & you will experience the joy of walking with Him. When you give everything to God, God will give you everything that you need!  Here are some final scriptures that I want to challenge you with so that you will reflect a kingdom culture with your life!

LUKE 14:25-33, "...any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple."

Matthew 13:44-46, "The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. 45"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. 46When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it."

Romans 12:10-12, "never be lacking in zeal & passion when serving the Lord."

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever" (Ephesians 3:20-21, NKJ) TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria God wants to do exceedingly abundantly above all you can ever ask, think, or imagine. In another place, it says that no person has ever seen, heard, or even imagined the wonderful things that God has in store for those who love the Lord. But notice that it's according
