Part 2- The Kid Lid
“What’s Pouring Into Your Child’s Heart & Life?”
“…choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve…But as for me and
my household, we will serve the LORD.”
Joshua 24:15

“These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Deuteronomy 6:6-17

*Click here to read PROVERBS 24:30-34- This passage is a reminder that if you're lazy, you'll experience poverty. This translates into parenting as well. If you're to busy to parent your child, there is a great chance that they will not become all that God has called them to be.

LEAD YOUR FAMILY. In the book of 1 Samuel we learn that Eli was a priest that did not lead his home. His children would follow his lead in stealing from God and not honoring Him with their whole heart. They had no fear of God which means they had no wisdom. They died early on in life & Eli’s family would be the only family in all of Israel that would not be blessed.

“By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established.” Proverbs 24:3

... TO HAVE A HEART FOR GOD- You teach what you know, but reproduce who you are.
“He (God) will give you all you need from day to day if you live for Him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.” Matt. 6:33

...TO HAVE A HEART FOR GOD’S HOUSE
"Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her" Eph. 5:25-- Do you have a heart for God's House?
God, talking about His House (the church) "My Name is stamped on it forever; my eyes are on it and my heart in it always."1 King 9:3-4 (MSG)
“I rejoiced with those who said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the LORD.” Psalm 122:1
“The righteous will flourish... planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God.” Psalm 92:12-13

3. DETERMINE THE ATMOSPHERE OF YOUR HOME.

Life's Healing Choices, Part 6- Repairing Relationships

Week 6: REPAIRING RELATIONSHIPS- THE RELATIONSHIP CHOICE:
I evaluate all my relationships, offer forgiveness to those who have hurt me, and make amends for harm I’ve done to others, except when to do so would harm them or others.

“Happy are those who are merciful to others... Happy are those who work for peace.” Matthew 5:7,9 (TEV)

1. I can FORGIVE others because God has FORGIVEN me.

“But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.” Mark 11:25 (NLT)
