Changing your life requires changing your beliefs which begins with your THOUGHTS.(Think -> Feel -> Act)
“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. 24 Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.” Psalm 139:23-24 NLT “... the truth will set you free.” John 8:32
DAVID’S REMEDY- PSALM 1
“There must be a spiritual renewal of your thoughts and attitudes.” Eph. 4:23
1. Meditating on God's Word will give you spiritual SUCCESS.
God told Joshua, "Study this Book of the Law continually. Meditate on it day and night so you may be sure to obey all that is written in it. Only then will you succeed" Joshua 1:8, NLT
2. Meditating on God's Word will help you keep a right HEART.
"The word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart" Hebrews 4:12, NIV
3. Meditating on God's Word will give you WISDOM that will guide you.
“I have more insight than all my teachers, for I meditate on your statutes" Psalm 119:99 NIV
4. Meditating on God’s Word will fill your mind with God’s THOUGHTS.
"Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely, and dwell on the fine, good things in others. Think about all you can praise God for and be glad about" Philippians 4:8, TLB
Change is a matter of CHOICE and I can CHOOSE what I think about.
"We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ" 2 Corinthians 10:5, NIV
Think the same way that Christ Jesus thought. Phil. 2:5
