FOCUS -- FORGET (forgive) -- LOOK FORWARD

1. Let Go Of The PAST.
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I (Jesus) have come that they (meaning YOU!) may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10 *see also 1 John 3:8
“Everything that we have—right thinking and right living, a clean slate and a fresh start—comes from God by way of Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 1:30 (MSG).

2. Start Living Out Your Divine PURPOSE.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
“Everything, absolutely everything... got started in Him and finds its purpose in Him.” Col. 1:16 (Mes)

1. WORSHIP- You were planned for God’s Pleasure.
“You God created everything, and it is for Your pleasure that they exist and were created!” Rev. 4:11b (NLT)
“...offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship.” Romans 12:1 NIV *see also 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Romans 12:2, Psalm 16:8-9

2. FELLOWSHIP- You were formed for God’s family
“I am writing these things to you... (so) you will know how to live in the family of God. That family is the church of the living God...” 1 Timothy 3:14-15 (NCV)
“God’s unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. And this gave Him great pleasure.” Eph. 1:5 (NLT)

3. DISCIPLESHIP- You were created to become like Christ.

“We look at the Son and see God’s original purpose in everything created.” Col 1:15 (Mes)
“In your lives you must think and act like Christ Jesus.” Phil. 2:5 (NCV)

4. MINISTRY- You were SHAPED (Spiritual Gifts Heart Abilities Personality Experiences) for serving God.
“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others...” 1 Peter 4:10
“You shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother's womb.” Ps. 139:13 (Mes)
“God made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us to do good works, which He planned in advance for us to live our lives doing.” Eph. 2:10 (NCV)
“God has given each of you some special abilities; be sure to use them to help each other, passing on to others God's many kinds of blessings.” 1 Peter 4:10 (LB)

*EVANGELISM- You were made for a Mission.
