HABITS 21-Day Challenge

Commit 21 Days to building new habits into your world to help you grow in your faith! Millions of Christians have grown older without ever growing up; they act as though spiritual growth is automatic. They may have a plan to save for retirement; they may have a plan for sending their kids to college; but they don't have a strategy for enriching their souls. Make the decision to invest into your life! Here's a simple plan for you to put into practice to help you GROW to a Whole NUTHA Level! Remember, You don't choose your destiny. You choose your habits and habits define your destiny. Choose well and join us!


H = Hanging Out With God

Having an consistent time with God through prayer, bible reading, silence and solitude, memorizing scripture, etc. Matthew 4:4, says, "But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”

A = Attending Church
Make a commitment to the body of Christ and a church family. “We must also consider how to encourage each other to show love and to do good things. We should not stop gathering together with other believers…” Hebrews 10:24-25

Recommended Step:  Attend FL weekly and be part of our special services and events!

B = Being Generous
Being willing to give our time, energy, gifts, and money to Jesus’ purposes. The Bible says, “The world of the generous gets larger and larger; the world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller. 25 The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped.” Proverbs 11:24-26

I = Investing In Healthy Friendships
Having accountability with the people around you who help you live and grow in your faith in Jesus Christ.  Galatians 6:2 says, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” You need people and people need you. 

Recommended Step: Host or attend an 8-week small group this fall! Be part of our Flourish night or Guy’s Night Out!
 
T = Telling My Story
You have an awesome story and people need to hear it!  No one’s story is boring because God does not make boring stories!  Mark 16:15, says, “And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.”

Recommended Step: Have a meal with a neighbor, BringVite people to FL!

S = Serving Others
We all have something to give and being a part of a local church offers you many different opportunities for you to use your gifts! 1 Peter 4:10-11, says, "10 God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.”  

Recommended Step: Join a Freedom Life Dream Team and serve regularly!
